My thoughts lately

My thoughts lately have been about my nephew Justin. His life ended way to early. I find myself thinking about Heaven and what Justin is doing up there. I have been searching for words of hope, love and comfort. I have faith that I will see Justin again. I just want to understand why is life was ended so quickly. In searching for understanding, I ran across this verse Psalm 25:4-5, "Show me your ways, O Lord, Guide me in your truth and teach me." God reveals His truth to us in many ways. We just have to be open to His ways and sometimes that is the hardest thing to do. I pray for my family everyday, I pray for my brother who lost his son, my parents who lost their Grandson, my sisters who lost their Nephew, my Nephews and Nieces that lost there Cousin, My Niece that lost her brother and my son that lost his friend. The Lord has a beautiful plan and purpose for all of us and Justin is a part of that Beautiful plan. So until I have my answers I will just keep looking toward Heaven and know that their is a BEAUTIFUL Angel up there looking over my precious family.

These are just some of the new Pink Rhinestone creations. I have a new designer, her name is Katie Alcorn!! Katie has such a talent for colors and creating new designs. Katie designed the teal and brown necklace. It is beautiful !! I think we all have hidden talents, we are all gems that need to be polished so we can shine. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is believe in yourself, to know that you can accomplish it. But God believes in us, He knows we can do it! Dig deep yall, find those hidden talents and believe you can do it. Something you do will make a light shine for someone else.

The Strongest man I know

My brother, Jason. My heart is in aww. His tears could fill the deepest ocean and his sorrow could reach the highest mountains, his heart is broken. But there he is standing with the greatest amount of courage and overwhelming strength. The type of courage and strength that only comes from God. I have never witnessed this type of courage and strength in my life. There is not any other explanation, other than pure Faith. 2 Corinthians 5:7, "We live by faith, not by sight." Jason, is walking by faith. What a testament Jason has become for our family. He doesn't even know that he is comforting ALL of us by his love, courage and strength. Here we are trying to comfort him and look what he is doing for us. Truly amazing. Gods love is real, Gods love is great. God is here and God is now.

March 27 is a day that my family will never forget, the day that our hearts were filled with the greatest sorrow we could imagine, the loss of our rock n roll angel Justin. We know we will see Justin again in Glory. So while I was working on this painting, I was thinking about Jasons courage and strength and seeing Justin in Glory.

Living outside the lines ~

A very dear friend came over for dinner and chat tonight and she also inspired me !!! My paintings have much more of a "flow" to them...I live my life outside the lines, my paintings are a reflection of me....The way I feel about Love, Family, Friends, Faith, Dreams...Sometimes we need to live outside the lines to experience all that God has in store for us...I'm so thankful for all that God has blessed me with...What would we do without our Faith?..."You gotta have faith"...( sounds like a catchy little song..lol)

Hey yall...These are my newest creations...It has taken me weeks to get the stain just right on these crosses...But I think they look totally FABULOUS!...We all have those days when we are feeling just a little bit wild and we want to step out on the wild side...So do it !!...One of my wildest childhood friends ( names will not be mentioned...Alesha!..LOL) who I am still friends with today, taught me the beauty of walking on the wild side...She had and still has the most beautiful, caring, bright and wild heart !! ...Proverbs 15:13 "A happy heart makes the face cheerful....."...So come on yall, dance in the rain, sing in the shower, go toilet paper your friends house, Go wild at your kids games and let them know they are totally awesome, Play hard and pray harder, Live out loud yall!! ...HAVE FUN and take a walk on the wild side ~

You gotta love pink ! Its the most girly girl color ever...Pink is without a doubt my totally FAV color...When I was younger I would always take the pink crayons, light pink, dark pink, fusia...It didn't matter which pink...and hide them in my dresser...I never wanted the colors to go away...I love pink jewels probably more than anything...When I turned 16 my Grandmother Alcorn gave me the most beautiful pink bracelet that my dad had given her when he was 16...It's my treasure, and such began my love affair with pink jewels!!! With some pink lipstick, pink nail polish ( polnailish..lol) and pink jewelry...Shaaazammm you are simply Divine!...As Dolly Parton says..."It cost alot to look this cheap"...You go girl!!

He gives us wings, so we can fly... is probably my favorite saying EVER...To me this means that God believes in us and He is waiting for us to spread our wings and lift our soul...There are so many moments in our life, where lets just face it, we screw up, we fail and then if your like me you do it all over again...lol...But God is there with His love and mercy waiting to catch us, just so we don't knock ourselves out completely and end up in the hospital with a concusion..lol...Peace, Love and Bling!
